In the year 1806, Turin, the Italian capital of chocolate, was blocked from its imports of cacao as war ravaged on by Napolean’s army. These resourceful chocolatiers looked to their town’s local hazelnut trees, mixing ground nuts with their dwindling cacao to create a magical pairing born out of necessity - Gianduja. We use only stone-ground roasted hazelnuts and Venezuelan chocolate to bring you this classic flavour.
